About The Position

Join our facilities management team as a Maintenance Electrician, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient operation of electrical systems across multiple JLL-managed properties. This position combines hands-on technical expertise with collaborative problem-solving as you maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment, wiring, and lighting systems. Your work directly supports business continuity and operational excellence for our clients, while you gain exposure to diverse commercial and industrial environments. Requirements

  • Active Journeyman's electrical license
  • Minimum 5 years of practical commercial/industrial electrical experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with ability to travel between multiple facility locations
  • Working knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures, NEC rules, and electrical safety regulations
  • Experience repairing and maintaining high-voltage equipment up to 600 volts

  • Experience with switchgear, generator systems, and motor control centers in commercial settings

Responsibilities

  • Complete work orders for routine electrical repairs, maintenance, and installation of lighting and power circuits in a timely and professional manner, ensuring minimal disruption to facility operations.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair control panels, electric motors, electrical equipment, and motor control centers by isolating deficits in wiring, motors, and related systems.
  • Install and maintain electrical infrastructure including bending and installing rigid or PVC conduit, pulling cables and wires, and utilizing voltage and amperage measuring devices to verify system performance.
  • Maintain and service critical equipment such as switchgear, generators, high-voltage equipment (up to 600 volts), and lighting systems while following all lockout/tagout procedures and NEC regulations.
  • Travel between facilities in Princeton, Ewing, and Rocky Hill (10-20 minute drive) to support day-to-day operations, assist with preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with outside contractors and vendors performing repairs or equipment servicing, as well as onsite personnel including security, cleaning staff, and cafeteria teams to coordinate work safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all safety procedures and company policies are followed, demonstrating strong communication, cooperation, and teamwork with colleagues across all facilities.
