About The Position

ABM Industries is seeking a Commercial Journeyman Electrician to join our Technical Solutions Team! In this role, you'll enjoy the opportunity to travel to different customer sites each day, performing essential service work and tackling new challenges in a variety of commercial environments. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electrical power distribution equipment. You'll work on large-scale commercial projects, applying your expertise to diagnose issues, provide solutions, and ensure high-quality workmanship. Requirements

A valid driver's License
3+ years of commercial electrical experience
NV General Electrician certification or NV Journeyman License
Must have your own hand tools

Responsibilities

Perform commercial electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in a variety of customer environments.
Travel daily to customer locations to complete service calls, system upgrades, and installation projects.
Plan and install electrical equipment, conduit, wiring, and fixtures according to project specifications and local electrical codes.
Install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems, including panelboards, breakers, disconnects, lighting fixtures, exit signs, wall packs, and power distribution equipment.
Safely work from ladders, scaffolds, and aerial lifts to complete electrical installations and repairs.
Read and interpret blueprints, job site drawings, equipment manuals, and work orders to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
Deliver high-quality workmanship while collaborating with foremen, team members, and customers.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Support a variety of service and project work and assist with additional duties as assigned.
