About The Position

As a valued member of our team, an electrician performs all types of electrical jobs throughout assigned locations. Electrical jobs include maintenance and installation of equipment and machinery used in production and manufacturing.

Requirements

High school diploma.
5+ years electrical maintenance experience.
Power distribution experience or understanding up to 4,160 volts.
Programmable logic control and digital drive experience.
Able to read, write, and speak English
Computer literate and able to use existing program of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
Good mathematic/mechanical aptitude.
Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, turning, climbing to a significant degree, and/or pulling of controls.
Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.
Heavy Work-Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and /or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls.
Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors, must wear protective equipment while at the location, Electrical troubleshooting skills and experience with motor control circuits and relay logic, Able to prioritize tasks and work as a team member, as well as individually.

Nice To Haves

Associates degree in related field.
3+ years experience in aggregate, cement, or heavy industrial operations preferred.
7+ years electrical maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical work and repairs on industrial equipment.
Install, adjust, and maintain all electrical equipment, gauges, and instruments.
Troubleshoot, evaluate, and coordinate electrical needs, repairs, and modifications.
Ensure that the manufacturer’s standards of repair and maintenance are met on all equipment.
Adhere to all rules and regulations at all times to ensure compliance with codes.
Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds.
Meet or exceed company safety standards.
Read and understand English sufficiently to be able to read technical information contained in manuals, reports, and related instructions.
Develop, read, and use mechanical, electrical and structural sketches, blueprints and drawings.
Maintain good housekeeping.
Attending all Safety meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
