Supports resort operations by performing basic electrician tasks, including projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders. As a Trades I - Electrician, you will: Perform engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management Understand how electrical systems function and be able to install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment Safely work with ceiling fans, breakers, ballasts, switches, outlets, bulbs, and more Repair moderately complex equipment, such as vacuums, toasters, lamps, and small appliances as needed Work with low voltage systems (12V to 24V) to install controls, thermostats, transformers, relays, and breaker panels Install circuits and devices using electrical conduit (EMT), MC cable, and wiring as needed Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret technical data and O&M manuals Actively participate in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available for tasks Operate resort operations software and devices effectively (HotSOS) Communicate professionally via radios, phones, emails, and verbal interactions Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed by resort management Safely use hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered tools required for electrical work Work using ladders, scaffolding, lifts, dust masks, and in confined or narrow spaces Follow safety guidelines and practices Identify and report potential hazards on the property Communicate and interpret guest needs with positive interactions toward resolution Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance, attire, and behavior Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership To excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.
