The CSP Sarepta facility is seeking an Electrician. This position is responsible for providing technical support in maintaining "State of the Art" electronic controls in the facility.

Requirements

A.S. degree in electrical/electronics field or equivalent (3 years) in training and experience.
Knowledge of basic machine design and setup.
Minimum of 3 years experience in electrical/electronic troubleshooting.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Knowledge of PLCs and PLC programming.
Basic set of tools including: Phillips screw drivers, Flat head screw drivers, Crescent wrench, Set of metric Allen wrenches, Set of SAE Allen wrenches, Set of channel lock pliers, Set of needle nose pliers, Tape measure, Diagonal cutting pliers, Flashlight, Small Knife.
Must have valid driver license and forklift license.

Responsibilities

Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of electrical and electronic controls on all plant equipment.
Assist in upgrading electrical equipment and electronic controls.
Develop control wiring schematics/maintain files.
PLC Programming.
Review product improvement ideas and recommend action to implement them.
Assist in determining spare parts requirements.
Provide machine design (electrical) proposals.
Maintain all electrical upgrades on software and in hard copy in an orderly manner.
Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
It is the responsibility of all maintenance personnel to provide a basic set of tools and tool holder or bag. These tools should be with the technician at all times when performing maintenance functions.
