About The Position

The Electrician will safely perform preventative maintenance (PM) on all equipment and be able to troubleshoot all plant equipment with minimal downtime. This role requires the ability to troubleshoot and replace electrical motors, and troubleshoot and repair controls. All work must be completed in a safe, neat, and professional manner. The Electrician will also be responsible for ordering parts needed for projects and assisting other maintenance technicians and production employees with repairs and troubleshooting.

Requirements

Prior conduit experience (rigid).
Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
Proficient with PLCs.
Ability to work safely, neatly, and professionally.

Nice To Haves

Associates degree plus 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
Background in general maintenance.
Welding (stick & mig).
Cutting torch.
Hydraulics.
Pneumatics.
Fabrication.
Knowledge of three phase power.
Mechanical abilities including power transmission, drives and conveyors, fans, drives and operation theory, hand tools and their use, general metal working knowledge, boiler operation and maintenance, basic welding theory and application, maintenance shop equipment.
