About The Position
QualServ Solutions International, a Middleby Corporation Company, is seeking an Electrician for their Stainless department. This role is responsible for installing and maintaining electrical wiring in cabinet fixtures. The electrician will inspect electrical components, identify electrical problems using testing devices, and repair or replace wiring or fixtures. Responsibilities include installing multiple outlets, junction blocks, and load centers. The company operates large facilities in the United States and Europe, serving global industries.
Requirements
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Must be able to stand/ walk for 8-10 hours per day
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to work in an area that is not climate controlled in the summer months
- Must be able to be exposed to working in confined work spaces
- Requires frequent bending and squatting
- Must pass drug test
Nice To Haves
- 1 or more years of previous electrical wiring experience preferred
- High School Diploma preferred
Responsibilities
- Installing and maintaining electrical wiring in cabinet fixtures
- Inspecting electrical components and identifying electrical problems using a variety of testing devices
- Repairing or replacing wiring or fixtures using hand tools or power tools
- Installing multiple outlets, junction blocks, and load centers
- Reading and interpreting work diagrams and drawings
- Using pneumatic hand tools to prepare and install wiring and other electrical components
- Installing and testing of fixtures
- Inspecting completed items for quality assurance
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Helping in other areas as needed
