About The Position

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across various projects. This role requires an individual who is eligible to drive and possesses a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program is preferred.
Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification as required by local regulations.
Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably within a construction or industrial setting.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate company vehicles.
Thorough knowledge of electrical codes (e.g., NEC), safety standards, and best practices.
Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, ammeters, continuity testers).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and local electrical codes.
Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tests on electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
Connect power to various equipment and systems, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
Install and maintain lighting systems, power distribution systems, and control panels.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Operate and maintain a company vehicle, ensuring it is in good working order and transporting tools and materials efficiently.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other trades on job sites.
Complete all necessary documentation, including work orders, inspection reports, and material requisitions.
