About The Position
IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Electrician in Lithia Springs, Georgia. This position performs all electrical tasks with general supervision, including reading and interpreting construction electrical drawings, terminating cables, installing and troubleshooting control wiring from drawings. The role involves monitoring work in progress, reporting variances, completing other duties as directed by a supervisor, and working from all types of ladders. Compliance with all company and customer safety policies and procedures is required. Travel may be required.
Requirements
- 4 years recent commercial electrical field experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Performs all electrical tasks with general supervision
- Reads and accurately interprets construction electrical drawings, terminates cables, installs and trouble shoots control wiring from drawings
- Monitors work in progress and reports variances in a timely manner
- Completes other duties as directed by supervisor
- Works from all types of ladders
