About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects located in the Allentown, PA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements

• Experienced Journeyman Electrician
• Ability to work to NEC and local code requirements
• Emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship

Responsibilities

• Complete wiring for new commercial buildings
• Installation of panels, switchgear, and distribution systems
• Lighting systems (interior, exterior, LED upgrades, and retrofits)
• Dedicated circuits for equipment and machinery
• Electrical system upgrades and capacity expansions
• Tenant build-outs and office reconfigurations
• Code compliance corrections and system modernization
• Troubleshooting and repair of electrical issues
• Preventative maintenance programs
• Emergency service and rapid response
• Backup generators and UPS systems
• Install data/communication cabling
• Fire alarm system wiring (in coordination with fire protection contractors)
• Energy-efficient solutions and lighting controls
• Work performed to NEC and local code requirements
• Permitting and inspection coordination
• Job site safety and quality assurance
