About The Position

Working with limited supervision, this role involves the installation, removal, relocation, and modification of circuits, feeders, rough wiring up to applicable fire alarm systems/devices (excluding programming, software), and applicable security systems, electrical equipment, and associated material. The work must adhere to the current NFPA 70 and current Massachusetts Amendments regarding work performed. This is a 1st shift position, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, located in Andover, MA, and is an onsite role. The position is part of a collective bargaining agreement, meaning wage and workplace conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement. Individuals hired will be represented by a union. A U.S. government-issued security clearance is required, and U.S. citizenship is necessary for eligibility. The role requires an active DoD Secret security clearance from day one.

Requirements

Current Massachusetts Electrical Journeyman's license.
Minimum of 5 years electrical experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1.

Troubleshooting under direct supervision of Company Fire Alarm Engineer.

Responsibilities

Safely plan, layout, and perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of the RTX electrical infrastructure.
Support machine tool maintenance requirements.
Create stock lists in conjunction with or reviewed with the group leader.
Notify supervision when major and extensive repairs or modifications are necessary.
Perform ESD work.
Maintain a clean work area.
Perform general maintenance and daily housekeeping of workplace, tools, and equipment.
Maintain records, move materials/equipment, and follow safety rules in the performance of duties.
Perform any electrical-related work as assigned and other similar duties as required or directed.
