This role focuses on assembling equipment according to approved designs and customer specifications while maintaining compliance with quality and ISO standards. The position requires troubleshooting electrical systems, wiring to NEC standards, and accurately reading and interpreting schematics. The individual will work both independently and collaboratively, communicating progress and resolving issues with the project team to support successful project delivery. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, along with the ability to assist in both wiring and mechanical builds, is essential. The role also involves maintaining a safe and organized workspace, meeting physical demands, and supporting occasional travel requirements.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of schematic interpretation
  • Intermediate knowledge of panel building
  • Intermediate knowledge of machine wiring
  • Intermediate knowledge of troubleshooting
  • Proven mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Proven ability to accept direction and complete tasks as assigned while working as part of a team or individually.
  • Ability to maintain a steady pace while bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and climbing onto and beneath machinery.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required.
  • Ability to obtain a Hi-Lo (Fork Lift), Aerial Platform and Overhead Crane license, along with Lock Out Tag Out training.
  • Travel at least 20% of the time may be required. This may include domestic and international travel depending on project.

Responsibilities

  • Assembly of the equipment according to approved design and customer specifications.
  • Ensure that changes and problems get documented and communicated.
  • Carry out assigned tasks with minimum direct supervision.
  • Assist with the execution of ISO/Quality Standards.
  • Communicate with the project team on open issues and progress during the build process.
  • Assist with the successful execution of assigned programs as they relate to cost, quality, timing and customer
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area.
  • Troubleshoot wiring and circuits
  • Wire according to NEC
  • Read and understand schematics
  • Assist with mechanical build when needed until wiring can be done.
