About The Position

Supreme Quality Electric Inc is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team, serving Martin & St. Lucie Counties. This role involves leading the design, analysis, and testing of electrical systems, providing technical direction, and managing projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with codes and regulations, promote safety, and prepare detailed technical reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred
  • Professional Engineer license or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, with at least 7 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards such as NEC, IEEE, and IEC codes.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with company software and basic office applications (e.g. Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, analysis, and testing of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and circuitry.
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers and technicians.
  • Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage electrical engineering projects from concept to completion.
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and contractors.
  • Design and implement electrical systems and components for various applications, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
  • Perform simulations, testing, and troubleshooting to optimize system performance.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges during the design and implementation phases.
  • Ensure all designs and installations comply with local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
  • Promote and enforce adherence to safety protocols throughout the team when overseeing a project.
  • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to maintain safe working conditions.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, schematics, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including testing results, design changes, and progress reports.
  • Present project updates and technical finds to management and clients.
  • Act as a point of expertise for troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues.
