About The Position

Meyer Distributing is a complete wholesale distributor serving the automotive, RV/towing, outdoor living, and marine industries, with over 85 locations nationwide. Meyer Logistics, their transportation arm, boasts a fleet of over 500 trucks. The company is seeking an Electrician to join their Arlington team. This role is responsible for performing all electrical maintenance and repair work, including running electrical conduit, and is a full-time position with immediate hiring. The company emphasizes a 'driven to perform' culture.

Requirements

• Requires a valid driver's license with good standing
• Requires a minimum of an Apprentice Electrician License
• Previous electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Familiarity with safety standards
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to give special attention to detail
• Ability to identify letters and numbers
• Oral communication skills
• Must have the ability to lift and carry 75 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Three phase knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform all electrical maintenance and repair work
• Install and maintain electrical conduit, hanging lights, etc.
• Install and maintain CAT5
• Work with 277/480V electrical systems
• Calculate amps, volts, watts, hp, etc. when needed
• Complete all maintenance jobs in a timely, efficient and professional manner
• All other duties as assigned
• Must be willing to travel.
