About The Position

EWI Worldwide builds custom displays for the auto and trade show industry. When building such displays, an electrician would need prior experience with studio/on-stage lighting for productions/theaters performances, low voltage (typically 24 Volt, sometimes 12 or 5 volts), soldering LED wiring, and cord management. The role involves installing and repairing electrical wiring of signs, systems, and fixtures (not residential wiring), and installing electrical hardware and connecting wiring to them. The position requires the ability to work overtime and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, twisting, lifting, getting inside crates, and standing for 8+ hours a day.

Requirements

Prior experience with studio/on-stage lighting for productions/theaters performances.
Experience with low voltage (24 Volt, 12 or 5 volts).
Ability to solder LED wiring.
Ability to manage cords.
Experience installing and repairing electrical wiring of signs, systems, and fixtures (not residential wiring).
Ability to install electrical hardware and connect wiring to them.
Must be able to work overtime.
Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, lift, get inside crates, and stand on feet 8+ hours a day.
Must be a go-getter that is ready and willing to work.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Commercial experience is a plus.
