About The Position

Our company is seeking a skilled Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial and commercial environments. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to read electrical drawings, and experience working with complex electrical systems. Our company specializes in boiler and boiler-related equipment sales, service, and repair, with offices in Georgia and Tennessee. Below is a list of the duties, responsibilities, and required qualifications necessary to be considered for employment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2–5 years of relevant electrical experience (industrial preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and components
  • Experience with motors, controls, and troubleshooting systems
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Time management skills and reliability
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. from floor to waist and from waist to overhead
  • Ability to climb and use ladders, forklifts, and scissor lifts
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (6+ hours per day)
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot and cold environments)
  • Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule
  • Ability to successfully pass a drug test and background check
  • Organized, efficient, and adaptable to change
  • Ability to work independently with reliable attendance
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with a “can-do” attitude

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
  • Install and connect control panels, motors, and electrical components
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
  • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards
  • Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment
  • Assist with installation and maintenance of boiler control systems and related equipment
  • Collaborate with pipefitters, technicians, and other trades on job sites
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned
