About The Position

This role involves performing a wide range of electrical tasks on-site, including inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical infrastructure and equipment. The position requires adherence to safety guidelines and effective communication with supervisors, crew members, and other contractors. The schedule is 14 days on and 14 days off, with 12-hour workdays.

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Valid Drivers Abstract - No more than 6 demerit points
• Valid Electrician Journeyman Certificate
• H2S Alive training
• Fall Protection
• EWP
• RPE
• WHIMIS 2025
• Confined space monitor and entry
• Fire watch/spark watch
• Gas monitor training

Responsibilities

• Inspection of existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
• Diagnose condition of existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
• Recommend best-fit solutions for existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
• Service and repair existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
• Construction of new “trade” infrastructure.
• Assembly and installation of new and replacement electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
• Communication of inspections, diagnoses, preventative maintenance, recommendations, construction, service / repair, and installation of electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
• Documentation of inspections, diagnoses, preventative maintenance, recommendations, construction, service / repair, and installation of electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
• Follow safety guidelines, approved processes and procedures on the job site.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to minimize disruptions and maximize productivity.
• Work cohesively with teams of employees or contractors.
• Communicate in a polite and courteous manner.
