About The Position

This role involves performing a wide range of electrical tasks, including inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical infrastructure and equipment. The position requires effective communication, adherence to safety guidelines, and collaboration with team members. The work is located at CNOOC - Long Lake with a shift schedule of 14 days on and 14 days off, working 12 hours per day. Camp accommodation is provided.

Requirements

Valid Class 5 Driver's License
Valid Drivers Abstract - No more than 6 demerit points
Valid Electrician Journeyman Certificate
H2S Alive training
Fall Protection
EWP
RPE
WHIMIS 2025
Confined space monitor and entry
Fire watch/spark watch
Gas monitor training

Responsibilities

Inspection of existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
Diagnose condition of existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
Perform preventative maintenance on existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
Recommend best-fit solutions for existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
Service and repair existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
Construction of new “trade” infrastructure.
Assembly and installation of new and replacement electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
Communication of inspections, diagnoses, preventative maintenance, recommendations, construction, service / repair, and installation of electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
Documentation of inspections, diagnoses, preventative maintenance, recommendations, construction, service / repair, and installation of electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
Follow safety guidelines, approved processes and procedures on the job site.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to minimize disruptions and maximize productivity.
Work cohesively with teams of employees or contractors.
Communicate in a polite and courteous manner.
