About The Position

Erwin Electric is an established electrical company, with an excellent reputation in the electrical contracting community since 1997. We are a W/MBE and DBE certified electrical contracting corporation experienced in commercial, industrial, residential, and government work. Erwin Electric, Inc is currently seeking Residential Service Journeyman Electrician(s) in the Sarasota/Mantee Area. Total compensation for Residential Service Journeyman Electrician(s) is based on experience and/or licensing. Candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance will receive top pay.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years in the trade.
Minimum 3 years of experience in residential service
Prior experience with lighting control systems, whole house generators, dock power
Journeyman card. (Years of experience in lieu of card may be considered)
Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record.
Clean criminal background check & able to pass a drug test.
Neat and professional appearance.
Troubleshooting experience is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to use hands to hold, feel, or reach electrical components
Stand, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, or crawl for extended periods of time.
Adequate close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Ability to regularly lift and move 50 lbs. – 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

Provide High level of customer service and professionalism.
Experience with completing custom homes from start to finish
Assemble and install electrical equipment, conductors, lighting, devices and associated material to meet all requirements of the customer’s scope.
Perform Testing, Upgrades and Repairs to electrical systems and equipment.
Ensure that installations are completed in a neat and workmanlike manner and adhere to NEC and Florida Building code requirements.
Maintain company provided tools and manage truck stock inventory levels.
