About The Position

This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems plant-wide. The Electrician I will also manage electrical prints, PLC programs, inventory, and perform mechanical repairs and fabrication. Additionally, they will design and create electrical control systems when required, maintain a clean work area, and take on additional assignments to support plant operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Five (5) years of electrical maintenance experience preferred
Working knowledge of PLCs strongly desired
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, PLC-controlled, and automated manufacturing equipment
Strong communication skills with internal teams and external customers
Ability to learn full plant operations in a reasonable timeframe and follow detailed instructions
Excellent attendance and reliability
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Commitment to a zero-harm, safety-first workplace

Nice To Haves

Post-secondary technical training or equivalent preferred
Electrical and PLC training preferred

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems plant-wide
Maintain and update electrical prints and ensure secure copies of all PLC programs are stored in both the electrical shop and main office
Manage inventory and maintain adequate supply of electrical parts
Perform mechanical repairs and fabrication as needed
Design and create electrical control systems when required
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area at all times
Take on additional assignments as needed to support plant operations
