Requirements

  • 1- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools, drills, and screw guns
  • Must be able to interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform critical analysis is desired
  • Ability to effectively present information in one–on–one and small group situations to other employees
  • Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence
  • Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices
  • Ability to recognize the quality expected and be able to reproduce it

Responsibilities

  • Assemble harnesses, cables, switch panels, circuit boards, and a variety of different electrical components
  • Close attention to detail
  • Meet standards of safety and 5S
  • Promote the use and applications of Lean Manufacturing continuous improvement tools as part of the culture
  • Meet standards of safety and 5S
  • Be compliant with the rules of conduct and attendance per company policy
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
