Electrician & General Maintenance Technician
About The Position
The Electrician & General Maintenance Technician performs electrical wiring and troubleshooting, general maintenance, plumbing, welding, and fabrication. The role carries out scheduled preventive maintenance throughout the building, warehouse, and corporate offices; troubleshoots machinery and systems; and installs electrical piping, circuits, and wire fixtures as needed. The position works Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and may respond to off-shift emergencies as needed. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Requirements
- High school diploma and/or technical vocational school training.
Nice To Haves
- Additional certificates and training, such as apprentice or journeyman electrician credentials.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance in various areas of the building, warehouse, and corporate offices.
- Maintain a clean, neat work atmosphere.
- Troubleshoot machinery and systems, including conveyor systems, building and equipment electrical systems, and material-handling equipment.
- Install new electrical piping, circuits, and wire fixtures where needed.
- Respond to off-shift emergencies as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
