About The Position

This position will assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. The Foreman is responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy, which encompasses Employees, Value, Execution, and Relationships.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
  • Minimum of 3 or more years of electrical experience, including supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, applicable codes, and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and supervise electricians, apprentices, and helpers.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA requirements, and local electrical regulations.
  • Proficiency in electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Experience coordinating work activities, schedules, manpower, and material needs.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights, and perform duties in various weather and job site conditions.
  • Valid driver's license may be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master Electrician license preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct electricians, apprentices, and electrical helpers on assigned projects.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily work activities to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Assign tasks and monitor crew productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and project documents.
  • Ensure all electrical installations comply with National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and company standards.
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to support project completion.
  • Inspect work performed by crew members to verify quality and compliance with project requirements.
  • Serve as the primary field contact between project management, contractors, customers, inspectors, and other trades.
  • Identify and resolve job site issues, conflicts, and technical challenges.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate updates, delays, and resource needs to management.
  • Enforce all company safety policies and OSHA regulations, promoting a safe work environment.
  • Conduct job site safety meetings and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate electricians, apprentices, and helpers to support skill development and performance improvement.
  • Review and manage material usage, inventory, and procurement needs.
  • Perform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work as required.
  • Verify that inspections are completed and deficiencies are corrected promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records, including daily reports, timekeeping, production tracking, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate project startup, commissioning, and turnover activities.
  • Respond to field emergencies and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support successful project execution.
