About The Position

IMC Electrical LLC offers a wide range of electrical installation services for private and public facilities with a large footprint in the Multi-Family and Commercial markets. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial settings, ensuring work complies with relevant codes and safety standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or repair; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electrician’s license preferred
  • Prior commercial electrical experience preferred
  • Prior work experience on a military base is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Install wiring, outlets, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures according to blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Set up electrical systems for new construction including panels, switches, and grounding systems
  • Perform excavation and install underground conduit systems, to include man holes, pull boxes, cabling, etc.
  • Inspect electrical systems, components, and wiring for hazards, defects, or compliance with codes
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning electrical equipment or systems
  • Replace outdated or faulty electrical components to meet current standards or client requirements
  • Upgrade systems to support new appliances, increased power loads, or energy-efficient technologies
  • Adhere to all electrical codes, regulations, and safety protocols
  • Ensure proper grounding and electrical safety measures are in place
  • Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and installations
  • Prepare reports and update blueprints or technical diagrams as necessary
