Electrician Apprentice
About The Position
This role is responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in an industrial setting. The apprentice will learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, install and repair electrical wiring, conduits, and fixtures, troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, and ensure compliance with safety and building codes. A strong emphasis is placed on learning and understanding national and local electrical codes and regulations to ensure compliance with safety standards. The apprentice will also be responsible for maintaining tools and equipment and aiding in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of industrial electrician apprentice experience
- Knowledge in 480V 3 phase power required
- Ability to bend conduit, install conduit in ground or surface, pull wire, able to use multi meter
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Requires physical strength and hand-eye coordination.
- The ability to work well in a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols
