About The Position

Working with limited supervision, classification consists of, but is not limited to, installation, removal, relocation and modification of circuits, feeders, rough wiring up to applicable fire alarm systems/devices (excluding programming, software) (allows for troubleshooting under direct supervision of Company Fire Alarm Engineer), and applicable security systems, electrical equipment and associated material while adhering to the current NFPA 70 and current Massachusetts Amendments regarding work performed. This position is an onsite role.

Requirements

Current Massachusetts Electrical Journeyman's license.
Minimum of 5 years electrical experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Safely works to plan, layout and perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of the RTX electrical infrastructure, and support of machine tool maintenance requirements.
Creates stock list in conjunction with or reviewed with the group leader.
Notifies supervision when major and extensive repairs or modifications are necessary.
Performs ESD work.
Maintains a clean work area.
Performs general maintenance and daily housekeeping of workplace, tools and equipment.
Maintains records, moves materials/equipment and follows safety rules in performance of duties.
Performs any electrical related work as assigned and other similar duties as required or directed.
