About The Position
The Electrician 1 performs a variety of skilled electrical work including installation, maintenance, inspections, and safety checks with minimal supervision to keep Hospital equipment and facilities in effective operating condition.
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend complicated and detailed instructions
- A comprehensive understanding of electrical equipment and operations normally acquired through an electrical apprentice program or similar on-the-job training
- 3-5 years of related electrical experience
- Ability to meet deadlines, to concentrate and pay attention to details
- Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and in a courteous manner with Hospital Personnel
- Work requires prolonged standing, and the ability to walk, climb ladders, lift and carry objects, and heavy objects
Nice To Haves
- Valid and in good standing driver’s license issued by the state of New Jersey
