About The Position

This role involves the assembly and wiring of electrical components, utilizing various hand and power tools. The technician will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and labeling materials, as well as packaging finished goods for shipment. Additionally, the position includes sharing maintenance duties for the shop area, such as inventory and cleaning, and ensuring adherence to Quality Management policies and procedures. Reading and interpreting schematics, instructions, and diagrams is a key part of the job, along with performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• 1+ years of related experience
• Exposure to or experience with blueprints, electrical schematics, wire charts, or engineering drawings
• General knowledge of electrical products and/or control panels
• Knowledge of established Quality Management procedures
• Ability to read and use a tape measure, ruler, and level
• Physical ability to manipulate hand tools (pliers, screwdrivers, meters, etc.)
• Ability to safely operate power tools as required (handheld drill, tabletop saw, band saw, grinder, etc.)
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to measurements
• Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks
• Attention to fine detail, ability to closely follow written documentation and directions, and the ability to work collaboratively with others to meet deadlines
