This is primarily a hands-on panel-building and wiring position. Typical duties include reading electrical schematics, blueprints, panel layouts, and point-to-point wiring documents. Mounting PLCs, power supplies, terminal blocks, relays, breakers, contactors, VFDs, and safety devices. Cutting, stripping, crimping, labeling, routing, and terminating wires. Installing DIN rail, wire duct, and control-panel hardware. Drilling and tapping panel enclosures. Performing continuity and point-to-point testing. Troubleshooting and correcting wiring issues. Following NEC, UL 508A, safety, and workmanship standards.
