About The Position

We are looking for 15 Electrical Trainees (ETs) to assist our team with spotting electricians working on lifts. This assignment is expected to last approximately October 12th, 2026 - February 1st, 2027, depending on workload and project needs. Mark III is a full-service construction company comprised of three complementary business units: M3 MEP, M3 Service, and M3 Components. We support projects from initial concept through long-term maintenance, with specialized expertise in healthcare, higher education, industrial, life science, and technology markets. Our integrated, big-picture approach allows us to self-perform electrical, HVAC, plumbing, process piping, prefabrication, and MEP design. By consolidating these services under one organization, clients benefit from reduced profit layers, minimized scope gaps, and simplified project schedules—working with a single, accountable partner rather than multiple consultants and subcontractors. Headquartered in Sacramento, California, Mark III operates throughout California and Nevada. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility serves as a centralized hub supporting five core trades: HVAC, mechanical piping, plumbing, electrical, and metal-stud framing. To support our continued growth, we will be relocating from our current combined 62,000 square feet of office and operational space to a new 340,000-square-foot headquarters at 2031 Optisolar Lane, with the move planned for completion by the end of Q3 2026.

Requirements

• Must have an active Electrical Trainee (ET) card with the California DIR
• Ability to work safely and effectively alongside electricians working on lifts
• Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to safety
• Must have active Trainee card number registered and verifiable through the DIR
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid DL

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read and understand blueprints preferred
• 3+ years of commercial construction experience preferred
• Ability to take initiative and be self-sufficient and think outside the box
• Safety focused at all times

Responsibilities

• Be a spotter for Electricians on lifts
• Move material on the job site
• Clean tools and equipment
• Select and set up equipment for pulling and bending
• Make up simple boxes and install trim
• Install panel boards and load centers
• Connect basic motor starters
• Identify problem sources
• Install main switch boards
• Install motor control centers
• Mount and terminate switchgear and panels

Benefits

• Hourly Wage: $20/hour - $30/hour DOE
• $100 a day per diem
