Electrical Testing. Responsibilities include equipment testing as required by various product lines, correcting problems found during testing, and notifying leads or supervisors. Some product lines require interpretation and understanding of direction of flow on racks and/or electrical wiring applications on racks. Some product lines require final check of product with completion of documentation for files. The role involves a final review of the equipment and completion of inspection information. The tester must be able to use testing gauges and/or electrical test equipment such as OHM meters. The position requires observation and adherence to safety rules and regulations, support of lean initiatives through 5S, 4I, ACP’s, RAT’s, etc., and performing other duties as assigned. The physical demands include sitting (0-2 hours), crawling (occasionally), standing (7-10 hours), squatting (occasionally), bending (frequently), twisting (frequently), walking (8-10 hours), lifting/carrying (20-25 lbs), climbing (occasionally), reaching overhead (frequently), full range of motion, and push/pull (15-25 lbs) based on a 5-day work week, 8-hour shift.
