About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Test Technician to join our PCB manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform electrical testing of bare printed circuit boards to ensure compliance with customer specifications, IPC standards, and internal quality requirements. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product reliability and supporting on-time delivery.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in PCB manufacturing, electrical testing, or related electronics manufacturing environment
  • Experience with rigid PCB tooling required; flex and rigid-flex experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of bare board electrical test equipment; rework skills are a plus
  • Familiarity with IPC-6012 and other applicable PCB industry standards preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and production travelers
  • Proficient computer skills for data entry and documentation
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical testing of printed circuit boards
  • Follow production travelers, engineering specifications, and quality assurance instructions to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards
  • Interpret drawings, test documentation, and work instructions to properly set up and execute test programs
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and document electrical defects; determine pass/fail status based on specifications
  • Accurately prepare and complete required documentation for acceptance or rejection of tested product
  • Record test results in production and quality systems to maintain traceability
  • Communicate quality issues, test failures, and recurring defects to the Electrical Test Supervisor and Production teams
  • Support rework activities as needed in accordance with company procedures
  • Maintain electrical test equipment and verify calibration status prior to use
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of test stations and work areas
