About The Position

Innomotics is seeking an Electrical Test Technician I (2nd Shift) to join their team. This role involves testing variable frequency drives, subassemblies, components, and equipment, as well as assembly of systems and sub-assembly products. Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent.
  • Test equipment knowledge specifically but not limited to: Oscilloscopes, High Potential Tester, Digital Multi-Meter, and Clamp-on Current Transformers.
  • Experience utilizing hand and power tools.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities from engineered drawings, wiring schematics, and bill of materials.
  • Safely utilize ladders and scaffolding to work at heights above waist level.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced math and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate product functionality to pre-defined test criteria and utilize various test equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and properly utilize all PPE.
  • Assist EET-II and EET-III with connection and energizing of final product with low, medium, and high voltage.
  • Complete standard system Factory Acceptance Test [FAT] testing.
  • Perform required preventative maintenance of electrical testing equipment and systems.
  • Perform wiring, cable prepping, and assembling as per the wiring diagrams.
  • Read and understand all related drawings including, but not limited to, assembly drawings, bill of material, test procedures.
  • Troubleshoot with assistance from EET-II and EET-III utilizing test results, schematics, and drawings.
  • Perform in-process inspection on product during assembly process.
  • Maintain safe, clean and orderly work area by utilizing 5S practices and participate in Lean initiatives.
  • Support assembly of the various systems and sub-assembly products.
  • Lift and position products to precise location using overhead cranes and other material handling devices (i.e., power jack, fork truck).
  • Move/position product as required.
  • May be required to perform other duties in multiple buildings as requested, directed or assigned.
