About The Position

The Electrical Test Technician 3 leads and performs inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and startup of low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution equipment in field and shop environments. Equipment includes breakers, transformers, switches, switchgear, relays, motor control centers, cables, and other electrical apparatus. The role requires knowledge of electrical distribution systems and the ability to use complex electrical test equipment. The technician supports safe work practices and contributes to successful project delivery. Local, regional, and national travel is required; international travel is preferred. The position also rotates emergency on-call duty and responds to customer emergencies when called. The technician coordinates and supports multiple onsite and in-house projects, maintains job documentation from order receipt through invoicing, and works with engineers, project managers, and clients during commissioning and startup. The role may include providing technical guidance to junior technicians. The position requires regular physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, relocating a 12-foot stepladder, and working at heights up to 60 feet.
