About The Position

As an Electrical Test Engineer V at Hyve Solutions Corporation, you will play a critical role in validating the performance and reliability of our cutting-edge server and storage solutions through comprehensive electrical testing.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in electrical testing, validation, and debug of complex hardware systems, preferably in the server, storage, or data center industry.
Expertise in various electrical testing techniques, including functional, stress, performance, and compliance testing (e.g., PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, USB).
Strong proficiency with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and power supplies.
Advanced programming skills in Python, C++, LabVIEW, or similar languages for test automation and data analysis.
Deep understanding of digital and analog circuit design principles, signal integrity, and power delivery networks.
Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and debug complex electrical issues down to the component level.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and collaboration.

Nice To Haves

Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence Allegro) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement complex electrical test plans, methodologies, and procedures for server, storage, and networking hardware.
Lead the debug and root cause analysis of electrical failures at the component, board, and system level, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
Collaborate with design engineers, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure testability and quality throughout the product lifecycle.
Develop and automate test scripts using programming languages such as Python, C++, or LabVIEW for efficient data acquisition and analysis.
Analyze test data, generate comprehensive test reports, and provide detailed recommendations for design improvements and corrective actions.
Evaluate and select appropriate test equipment, fixtures, and instrumentation to meet testing requirements.
Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the development of best practices within the electrical testing team.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and new test methodologies to continuously improve testing capabilities.
Participate in design reviews, FMEAs, and DFM activities to proactively identify and mitigate potential electrical issues.
Perform signal integrity and power integrity measurements and analysis to ensure compliance with specifications.
