About The Position

The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure uninterrupted production operations. This role requires expertise in diagnosing electrical issues, executing preventive maintenance, and implementing upgrades to improve equipment reliability and performance while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • 1-3 years in an industrial or manufacturing environment (Required)
  • Electrical system troubleshooting (High proficiency)
  • Preventive maintenance techniques (High proficiency)
  • Motor control systems (High proficiency)
  • Technical documentation interpretation (High proficiency)
  • Electrical safety protocols (High proficiency)
  • Communication (High proficiency)
  • Time management (High proficiency)
  • Problem-solving (High proficiency)

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or Vocational Training, in Electrical, Electronics, or Industrial Maintenance (Preferred)
  • 1-3 years with PLCs, automation systems, and motor controls (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of automation systems (Medium proficiency)
  • PLC programming and diagnostics (Medium proficiency)
  • PLC (Preferred)
  • Electrical Certifications (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems.
  • Interpret and apply schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Maintain, program, and troubleshoot PLCs and other automation systems.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure equipment compliance with safety standards.
  • Document electrical maintenance activities in CMMS.
  • Assist with electrical upgrades, retrofits, and new installations.
