About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician, including low voltage experience, to support the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems at an onsite government installation in San Antonio, Texas. This role helps ensure the safe and reliable operation of facility electrical infrastructure, including both standard and low voltage systems, in compliance with applicable codes, safety standards, and site requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical systems, including low voltage installations and maintenance.
  • Applicable certifications or licenses in the respective field, such as electrician’s license, low voltage certification, or NFPA/OSHA certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, schematics, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-safety, industrial, or secure environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required installation/base access.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting government, defense, industrial, manufacturing, or other secure facilities.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, motors, and industrial control systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Secret clearance or prior eligibility for military installation access preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and low voltage controls throughout the site.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  • Test and calibrate electrical instruments and low voltage systems in accordance with applicable safety regulations.
  • Respond promptly to electrical system failures or malfunctions and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to support site operations and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment serviced, and safety inspections.
