About The Position
The Maintenance Electrician is a member of the Maintenance Team reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager/Supervisors/Shift Leaders. The Maintenance Electrician ensures operation of production machinery and electrical equipment by troubleshooting, performing repairs and preventive maintenance in an effective, efficient and safe manner.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience working as an Electrician in an industrial manufacturing or similar environment
- Efficient in sizing conductors, conduits and using NEC Code Book
- Experienced in handling low to high voltage up to 480 VAC
- Experience with installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and programming of VFD’s
- Experience with troubleshooting PLC’s
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair motor control centers (MCC) and all circuit protection devices
- Diagnose and apply results using: Voltmeters, ammeters, IR and megger
Nice To Haves
- Experienced in Process Controls
- Ability to become qualified to operate lifting equipment (Fork Truck, Ariel lift, Etc.)
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Highly motivated and self-directed
- Familiar with current Arc Flash regulations
