About The Position
Working with the Melt Shop Electrical Maintenance team to ensure the effective maintenance and optimization of electrical systems, with a primary focus on safety and operational reliability.
Requirements

- Electrical maintenance experience.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Self-Motivated and initiative.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Positive and team-oriented attitude.

- Experience with overhead cranes
Responsibilities
- Installation and optimization of both new installations and current equipment.
- Troubleshooting and repair of current systems.
- Maintain general housekeeping standards.
- Verify monitoring equipment.
- Assist in calibration.
- Support in crane troubleshooting and repairs.
- Work with Level 1 Engineer on HMIs/PLCs/Drives.
- Understand and follow safety protocols, including: Red Zone 20-foot Rule, Cardinal Safety Rules, Electrical Safety practices.
- Perform electrical and electronic troubleshooting and periodic maintenance on equipment.
- Identify, design, and implement changes/upgrades that will increase the process's productivity or reliability.
- Understand the steel-making process and integrate this knowledge with the knowledge of process control systems to improve safety, productivity, quality, and reliability.
