About The Position

ProChem is seeking a hard working, experienced electrical technician to join our Water Systems Fabrication & Installation team. You would be responsible for installing and troubleshooting control panels as well as completing the electrical portion of system installations in the field and assisting with fabrication and assembly in the shop. The ideal candidate will have experience running conduit, pulling wire, installing filed instrumentation, writing motors, and working with 480VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC. You will be cross trained in other fabrication and assembly trades.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience as an electrical technician in an industrial setting
• Experience running conduit, pulling wire, installing filed instrumentation, wiring motors, and working with 480VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Driver's License (Required)
• Willingness to travel: 25% (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Master electrician certification highly preferred
• Journeyman desired

Responsibilities

• Install, wire, and test control panels and field instruments
• Install conduit and run electrical wiring
• Assist with fabrication and assembly of industrial control panels according to specifications
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems in control panels and field instruments
• Complete electrical portions of system installations, including wiring motors and other equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulation and company policy
• Perform other related fabrication and installation duties as assigned to support the overall success of the project
