Electrical Technician L1-2, Distribution Engineering Distr Equipment
About The Position
The Electrical Technician L1-2 supports Con Edison's Distribution Engineering Equipment team by performing testing, evaluation, and analysis of distribution equipment used throughout the electric distribution system. The role performs acceptance testing of reconditioned equipment, evaluates field-returned equipment, and reviews prototype equipment to support the safe and reliable operation of network transformers, network protectors, and microprocessor-based relays. Responsibilities include conducting electrical and operational testing, interpreting technical documentation, and documenting test results and findings in both shop and field environments.
Requirements
- Support Con Edison's Distribution Engineering Equipment team.
- Perform testing, evaluation, and analysis of distribution equipment.
