About The Position

From product concept to production, the Electrical Technician provides technical assistance to engineers by defining and performing tests and analyzing results within our RMA team. This position reports to Sr. Director of Manufacturing – Connectivity. According to the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), this position is classified as: Non-Exempt

Requirements

Associate’s degree or equivalent in Electronics Systems Technology, Engineering Technology, Robotics Technology or related field
0-5 Years Experience
Experience working with basic hand tools
Familiarity with: Electrical test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.
Familiarity with: General soldering processes
Familiarity with: Communicating within Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with: Basic programming languages
Familiarity with: Technical Drawings
Familiarity with: Lean Manufacturing

Responsibilities

Production Validation, Production Troubleshooting, Test System Set Up and Maintenance and Failure Analysis and repair including: Cord set soldering, crimping and fixture creation, up and validation General equipment recommendation, set up and training of operators Automated, Semi-Automated and Manual Test Systems
Documenting and effectively communicating processes and findings to relevant stakeholders
Collaborating with the engineering team to help identify and implement production improvements.
Performing periodic internal calibration or verification of equipment.
Other duties as assigned
