About The Position

The Electrical Technician I plays a critical role in supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within various facilities. This entry-level position focuses on ensuring that electrical components operate safely and efficiently, contributing to the overall reliability of the organization's infrastructure. The technician will work closely with senior electrical staff and engineers to troubleshoot issues, perform routine inspections, and assist in implementing electrical upgrades. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in electrical work.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites within the United States.
• Foundational electrical knowledge daily to perform installations and repairs that ensure system functionality and safety.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills are essential for identifying electrical faults and collaborating with team members to resolve them efficiently.
• Reading and interpreting schematics and technical documents enable the technician to follow precise instructions and maintain compliance with industry standards.
• Effective communication skills facilitate coordination with supervisors and other tradespeople, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Adherence to safety practices protects both the technician and the workplace, fostering a culture of responsibility and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship or technical training program.
• Experience with industrial or commercial electrical systems.

Responsibilities
