About The Position

The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing the full range of duties in electrical systems for aircraft installations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of experience with electronic systems, electronics troubleshooting, electronic testing design, analyzing information. (Level I)
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2-5 years of experience with electronic systems, electronics troubleshooting, electronic testing design, analyzing information. (Level II)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Recurring FOD training and awareness, upon hire and annually.
  • Ability to comprehend schematics and integration/installation drawings.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A 620 certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after production.
  • Install and maintain electrical systems including cable harness/components.
  • Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
  • Modify electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, In accordance with Electrical Drawings/schematics.
  • Set up and operate test equipment.
  • Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.
  • Ability to understand Redline processes while working closely with supervisor.
  • Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical component/wire harness, IAW the electrical Drawing /schematics.
  • Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required.
