About The Position
The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing the full range of duties in electrical systems for aircraft installations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of experience with electronic systems, electronics troubleshooting, electronic testing design, analyzing information. (Level I)
- High School diploma or equivalent and 2-5 years of experience with electronic systems, electronics troubleshooting, electronic testing design, analyzing information. (Level II)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Attention to detail.
- Recurring FOD training and awareness, upon hire and annually.
- Ability to comprehend schematics and integration/installation drawings.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A 620 certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after production.
- Install and maintain electrical systems including cable harness/components.
- Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Modify electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, In accordance with Electrical Drawings/schematics.
- Set up and operate test equipment.
- Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.
- Ability to understand Redline processes while working closely with supervisor.
- Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical component/wire harness, IAW the electrical Drawing /schematics.
- Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required.
