About The Position

This role puts you at the center of our electrical discipline — setting standards, guiding team members, and making sure every project we deliver reflects our best work. You will coach and develop engineers, own quality assurance for projects, evangelize standards, build a positive culture, and think ahead about resource and software needs. You will also coach team members on client expectations and practice trends.

Requirements

Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in an MEP consulting firm.
Minimum 5 years of leadership or management experience.
Experience with institutional/education projects required.
History of building strong teams that improve the client experience and drive business results.
Proven track record of engaging with clients and maintaining effective relationships over time.
Demonstrated ability to achieve measurable results based on client satisfaction.
Active participation in professional networks within the AEC industry.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Passion for innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Provide direct, constructive feedback at the individual and team level, and help team members chart their career growth.
Provide high-level technical oversight and quality assurance for all assigned team projects and electrical documents.
Lead the identification, prioritization, and implementation of improvements to electrical standards and processes, ensuring consistency and excellence across all projects.
Foster a positive, psychologically safe environment where learning and development thrive.
Engage in company, department, and team meetings, team building, and community involvement.
Assess resource and software needs, implement process changes aligned with company strategy, and monitor industry trends so we stay competitive.
Coach team members on client expectations, service standards, and practice trends.
