Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and eight or more years of experience in harness fabrication or related electronics manufacturing
  • Detail-oriented, builds high-quality assemblies and enjoys creative problem-solving
  • Expert level understanding of electronic components, electronics design, troubleshooting complex systems, and the ability to distinguish wire colors
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs., maneuver in tight spaces (bending, stooping, crawling), work extended hours/weekends as needed, and travel up to 10%
  • Strong attention to detail, a professional demeanor, and excellent collaborative problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and a passion for mastering new technologies

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or technical degree preferred
  • IPC-A-620, IPC-J-STD-001, or FAA certification standards are a strong plus
  • Experience with electrical systems quality inspection
  • Familiarity with Lean methodologies (Toyota Production System, Kaizen)

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate complex wire harnesses, troubleshoot intricate electrical systems, and collaborate with Engineering on process improvements
  • Build and self-inspect complex wire harnesses; operate acceptance tests, isolate faults, and perform component-level repairs
  • Implement key ideas and process improvements that drive company growth
  • Contribute to projects and drive efficiency in a production environment
  • Follow and document work via Google/Microsoft Suites and digital instruction platforms
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area while performing all job functions safely, professionally, and in accordance with company standards
