About The Position

Gotion Inc. is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer (480V Industrial Power) to support the installation, troubleshooting coordination, and ongoing maintenance of industrial electrical systems up to 480V in a manufacturing plant. This role involves understanding electrical drawings, overseeing contractor work, and providing occasional on-site verification and minor maintenance support after equipment handover. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience with industrial electrical systems in a plant or manufacturing environment
• Ability to understand electrical schematics and power distribution diagrams
• Basic troubleshooting logic and communication skills
• Comfortable working on-site around equipment

Nice To Haves

• Electrician or electrical technician background
• Experience with MCCs, motors, or VFDs
• Equipment installation or commissioning exposure
• Electrical license
• 24/7 manufacturing environment experience

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams (up to 480V)
• Act as technical contact for electrical contractors and vendors
• Support equipment installation, startup, and acceptance
• Identify electrical issues and coordinate corrective actions
• Maintain documentation and update redlines
• Ensure work follows electrical safety standards and NEC basics
• Assist with maintenance planning after project handover
• Perform basic inspection, testing, or minor adjustments when needed
• Support reliability improvements and root cause discussions
• Coordinate work with production and EHS teams
