Amentum is currently seeking for an Electrical Supervisor to support a government contract based in Kings Bay, Georgia. POSITION SUMMARY The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for supervising the electrical shop prioritizing work assignments, overseeing safety and procedural training, and ensuring electrical work is performed in compliance with applicable electrical code standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Master Electrician License or proof of training/competency or certificate of Completion from Electrical Apprenticeship program or equivalent
  • Demonstrate mastery of applicable National Electrical Code (NEC) and/or British Standard (BS) and pass an electrical trade test
  • Knowledge and skill in safe operation and application of instrumentation to include circuit testers, power analyzers, ground rod resistance meters, ground fault loop impedance testers, and residual current device testers
  • Skill in classifying electrical distribution systems, troubleshooting, and identifying circuit faults and fault loop circuit paths, and proper grounding and bonding
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints, schematics, instructions, and other technical documentation
  • Additional knowledge and skill requirements may vary by assignment
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.
  • US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret US Government Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Foremen/General Foremen and coordinate efficient execution of installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
  • Ensure electrical personnel are properly trained and strictly follow required electrical processes and standards
  • Review work documentation (service orders, work orders, etc.) and ensure they are completed on time, staffed properly, charge codes are correct, and the quality of work meets contract requirements and approved standards
  • Ensure accurate database of electrical shop activities including material inventory records and electrical supplies
  • Evaluate electrical personnel for proper performance and work ethics
  • Perform other qualified duties as assigned
