About The Position

Dematic is seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors to lead on-site installation teams. This role can be based anywhere in the US and requires 100% travel. The Electrical Supervisor ensures the quality, safety, and timely execution of electrical installation projects on site. The role coordinates in-house and outsourced work, performs quality checks, supports equipment trials, trains contract labor, and provides clear reporting to project managers and customers. It involves extensive travel and hands-on work, with adherence to Dematic standards.

Requirements

At least 7 years of experience troubleshooting electrical equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Must have a vehicle, work tools, and a valid driver’s license.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, off-shifts, and overtime as needed.
Ability to push, pull, crawl, squat, and lift at least 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree.
Service experience with AGVs, AS/RS, or conveyors.
Experience in quality assurance and adherence to installation standards.
Ability to obtain OSHA 30 certification.
Proficiency with personal computers, spreadsheets, and weekly status reporting.

Responsibilities

Ensure installation quality on project sites, including manufacturing and subcontractor work.
Complete quality checklists and submit corrective actions when discrepancies are identified.
Maintain on-site safety by performing safety audits and enforcing standards.
Assist with routine equipment trial runs to verify specifications and accurate installation according to Dematic standards.
Provide on-site reporting on schedule, resources, and project status to project leads and/or customers.
Train and support contract labor and subcontractors in installing Dematic and other material handling equipment.
Write clear, concise, and timely trip reports according to Dematic procedures.
Identify and resolve on-site problems and perform physical tasks as needed.
