About The Position

IES Residential is hiring an experienced Electrical Supervisor - Single Family to lead residential electrical operations in the South Atlanta area. The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, managing crews, coordinating projects, and ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and to code. This role plays a critical part in maintaining quality standards and delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent field experience preferred
  • 5+ years of residential electrical experience (including new construction)
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in single-family construction
  • Valid Georgia electrical license required
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and residential electrical systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Must pass background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise residential electricians to ensure productivity and quality performance
  • Manage residential electrical projects from start to finish (scheduling, manpower, materials, and budgets)
  • Ensure all work meets NEC, local codes, and company quality standards
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers and builders
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in the field
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety policies; lead safety meetings
  • Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment; maintain inventory
  • Train and develop team members to improve performance and skillsets
  • Maintain accurate documentation (work orders, permits, job tracking)
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
